The short answer
To edit a screen recording online, save it to rmvbg Studio and open Edit. Use Cut to trim and remove pauses or filler words, Frame to make it 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5, Subtitles to add timed captions, Zoom to zoom in where you type and click, Text for titles and an end card, and Draw for arrows, boxes, highlights and blur. Auto edit does most of it in one pass. Save edits and your share link updates; Make video file exports it.

Can I edit a screen recording in the browser?
Yes. rmvbg Studio cuts, reframes, adds subtitles, zooms, titles and markup in your browser, then exports a video file.
Will editing change my original video?
No. Edits are saved as instructions on top of the recording, so the original stays untouched and you can undo everything.
Can I turn a wide recording into a vertical Short or Reel?
Yes. Pick 9:16 in Frame. Choose Fill to crop (zooms pan the crop to the action) or Fit to keep the whole video on a background.
How is the edited video made?
On your computer: the edit is played through once and recorded with everything burned in, so it takes about as long as the video.
